Courtney L & Stacie A

Courtney, 14, loves to sing. Her favorite singer is Nicki Minaj, but Courtney will sing nearly anything and likes to create parodies to songs.  She also likes reading, especially books by Jodi Picoult.  Courtney has read nearly all of Picoult’s books.  In her free time, Courtney also enjoys drawing.  Courtney combined her love for books and her talent for drawing by creating an amazing portrait of her favorite author.    Courtney would  love to share a home with her sister. Stacie, 15, loves basketball.  Her proudest moment was scoring 13 points in one game! In fact, she says she is happiest when on the basketball court or in school.  Stacie is an excellent student and says she “always” makes the honor roll.   Stacie's  smile is infectious and she is described as being bubbly and outgoing.   Stacie hopes to go to college to become a pediatrician or a NICU nurse.

William is a thirteen-year old young man with brown hair, brown eyes, and a beautiful smile.  William has a great sense of humor and loves to make everyone laugh.  William likes to play sports and video games. Jarod M

Jarod is an energetic 13-year old boy with a beautiful smile. He enjoys sports, video games, and riding his bike. Three things Jarod likes about himself include his brown hair, his glasses, and that he is good at riding go-carts. Jarod is versatile and would like to live in either the city or a country setting. Jason is a fourteen-year old boy with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He loves to play outside and loves to eat. Jason is very creative and loves music. Amber, Kennedy, & Kyleigh T

Kyleigh is a beautiful and energetic six-year old little girl. She is very active and enjoys playing with her two younger siblings. Kyleigh participates well in family-centered activities and craves one-on-one time. Kyleigh loves to sing, read, draw and have her nails painted. Kennedy is a very smart and funny five-year old.  She enjoys playing dress up with her sisters and being out in the community. Kennedy is an animal lover and likes to engage in conversation about all kinds of animals. Kennedy enjoys being read to, especially stories about princesses.  Amber is a very quiet four-year-old and enjoys being the youngest of the sibling group.  She enjoys a lot of one-on-one time.  Amber loves being with her sisters and enjoys watching them interact with one another. Amber likes to play dress up and school with her sisters.  She really likes to color and have her pictures displayed for others to see.

Joleen D

Jolene, age 13 years, is fascinated with books and writing letters and numbers.  Jolene is a great organizer.  She likes to sort laundry, fold towels and put clean laundry away.    Joleen enjoys school and would like to be a teacher.  She enjoys community activities.    Joleen will need a lot of nurturing and reassurance.  She needs a home that can provide love, redirection and behavior modification.

Emmett C

Emmett (9) is all boy!  He is polite and enjoys approval.  Emmett likes to swim, ride Go-karts and 4-wheelers, play sports, basketball, be outside and play with his friends.  Emmett is outgoing and usually gets along with his peers.  He tends to bond very easily.  Emmett is in good physical health and has no known serious injuries or illnesses since birth; he has mild visual dyslexia and wears glasses.  He is developmentally on target.  Emmett appears to enjoy school.  His favorite subject is math; he does well in most subjects, requiring some help with reading and spelling.

Emily P.

Emily is 14 years old with brown eyes and short brown hair. Emily is a beautiful young lady, who will steal your heart with her sweet smile and big brown eyes! One of Emily’s most endearing qualities is her loyal nature.  As all teens do, Emily loves fashion and clothes. She enjoys shopping, getting her nails done, dying her hair and doing her make-up. Emily enjoys the social aspect of school, but needs supervision when it comes to academics. Emily makes friends easily and does well socially in school.

Bryan D

Bryan, age 15, is in the 9th grade and loves to read and draw. He enjoys being outside and being with his peers, with adequate supervision.  Bryan attends church regularly with his foster parent.  Bryan needs a family who can provide structure, supervision and stability, but who also meets his need to feel loved and wanted.

Ashlynn, 9, enjoys drawing, singing, and riding horses. She loves being outside and is very athletic. Ashlynn likes Chinese food, pizza, and chocolate. Jaquez W

Jaquez, 15,  is handsome, friendly, and has a big personality. He loves animals and caring for animals, especially dogs. He really enjoys gardening and planting flowers. He does a great job taking care of the plants and takes pride in seeing them grow. Jaquez loves being active and doesn't let having a prosthetic leg get in the way of participating in any activity he desires.  He enjoys dancing, playing sports, and cheerleading.  Jaquez loves fixing hair and is quite good at it. Ragain is 11 years old and has a passion for Star Wars!  He loves to collect anything Star Wars as well as Legos.  Ragain will definitely keep you up to date on all the latest superheroes and games.  Ragain loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chocolate ice cream and waffles!  There are times when Ragain prefers to engage in solitary activities where his imagination can take him to other worlds.

Earl B

If you enjoy being active – this is the boy for you!  Earl, age 11,  has a light complexion with blue eyes and blond hair.  Earl has come far and is able to dress himself and put on his shoes with assistance, although he cannot tie them.  Earl ably communicates what he wants with a combination of simple words and signs.   He enjoys toys that spin, light up or make noise. Earl also enjoys swinging, playing outside, being around adults (especially males), running, having one-on-one attention, and books that make sounds.  He dislikes not getting his way, loud noises, and unfamiliar situations.

Eighteen-year-old Jacob has an abundance of curiosity and energy.   Jacob laughs and sings when he is happy.  Despite his challenges, he enjoys music and tactile stimuli. Jacob can busy himself for hours listening to music.  Jacob participates in a horseback riding program which he loves!  He is very good with the horses and is learning to steer while riding.  Jacob needs a stable home and family who will provide him with an abundance of attention, patience, and love. Shawn (6 years old), Shawniyah (4 years old), and Rashawn (3 years old) are an energetic and active sibling group. Shawn is very protective of his younger siblings and loves all forms of ball play. Shawniyah, as the only girl of the group, wants to be a "princess" when she grows up. Shawniya is affectionate and loves attention. Rashawn is the baby of this group, but he doesn't know it. Rashawn enjoys nothing better than to be outside running after the older kids. These siblings could add a lot of life to any home!

Tiara is a three-year-old girl with brown hair, brown eyes, and a fair complexion. She has a medium build weighing 25 pounds and is approximately 33” tall. Tiara enjoys to be held and rocked. Tiara likes soothing talk, music, warm blankets, and needs unconditional love.

Adrian is a cute 13 year old Caucasian male with light brown hair and brown eyes. Adrian enjoys playing video games and indicates that two of his favorites are Mario Smash Brothers and Wii Sports. He also enjoys eating Chinese food and being the center of attention!

Though somewhat shy at first, Adrian is quick to become talkative and sociable. He does well in school and earns mainly A's an B's. Adrian has specifically stated that he wants to know someone will always be there for him. He would thrive in a home where he could be provided with lots of love and attention.

Patrick C.

How about a pick-up game of basketball?  Just let Patrick know the time and place and he will join you.  Thirteen-year-old Patrick is full of energy.  He also enjoys riding four- wheelers and he likes it even better if he is allowed to drive!  Patrick would benefit from an active family with a strong father figure.  Patrick is also very creative and enjoys arts and drawing.

Brandon Hu

Brandon (age 8) is a blonde-haired, blue-eyed "fish!" In addition to swimming, Brandon enjoys all forms of outdoor play - riding bikes, (running????) track, and playing ball with other children. He is a rough-and-tumble little boy, ejoying anything involving wrestling. Brandon loves school. He is smart and reads above grade level. Brandon does have a sweet tooth and can be very sneaky in his quest to acquire choice snacks from the home, but food is not an issue.

Noah (14)  has voiced he would like to be a farmer and wants to live in the country. Noah loves to work and fix things. Noah will be in 8th grade for the 2012-2013 school year. Noah benefits from an IEP for writing and reading.

Eighteen-year-old Summerine - who likes to go by "Summer" - is an awesome teenager with a great smile and is full of energy.  She would be a great addition to a family. Lawrence is an energetic, curious, playful 7-year-old. Small in size, he makes up for it with his huge smile and dimples. Lawrence enjoys being outside swimming, playing baseball or riding his bike. He also loves Spiderman and chicken wings.

Megan W

Megan, 18,  has not given up the hope to be part of a permanent family and knows that every child, regardless of age, needs a place to call home.  Megan would be an amazing addition to any family.  Her quick wit and immense talents make her a joy to be around.  

 Megan enjoys singing almost as much as those who know her enjoy listening! When not singing herself, Megan likes listening to rock music, but will make an exception for Taylor Swift.  She is also artistically talented and enjoys drawing.  In fact, Megan hopes to attend art school to develop her drawing skills.   Megan is always able to speak her mind and never at a loss for topics to discuss.

Alex, Anna, & Grace H

Anna, Grace, and Alex are three peas in a pod. Alex (9) loves Legos!  He cannot seem to get enough of them and especially loves building things from Lego kits.  He also enjoys drawing and watching cartoons.  He is very active and loves to be in his playhouse or on the trampoline.  Alex has quite the sweet tooth and loves ice cream and candy, especially chocolate.  Grace (10) likes to spend her free time drawing or playing games on her Nintendo DS or the computer.  She is outside whenever possible; she likes the country and enjoys going to the creek.  Grace also likes working with her hands and wants to build a tree house.   Grace loves school, particularly math and music. Anna (16) enjoys reading, playing on the computer, and drawing anime. While she thinks school can be boring at times, she enjoys seeing her friends there and attending art class.  Each of these children say that one of their favorite things to do is to be together.  They get to see each other on weekends, but would love to have one place they can all call home together.

Napolean "Nate" (16) is a tall young man with a muscular build. He has dark hair and skin with piercing blue eyes. When Nate smiles, the sparkle in his eyes can light up the room. He can be loving and protective of those closest to him. Nate has a sweet quality about him which draws you in and keeps you interested. If you give Nate a rod, some lures, and water, he is good to go! Fishing is one of his favorite things to do when he has time. Paul, age 13, is an extremely creative, intelligent young man.  He has a special gift for creating very intricate pieces of art out of ordinary materials and he is very talented in the art of Origami. Paul is also an avid collector of Hot Wheels cars with an uncanny ability to memorize makes, models, and years of the cars and how the models have changed through the years. Matthew is a very kind 12-year-old young man with light brown hair and brown eyes. Matthew is one of the sweetest kids you will ever meet. He doesn't know a stranger and is quick to offer a lending hand. Matthew is always polite and concerned about everyone else's well-being. Matthew is energetic and loves to be on the go! He enjoys sports of all kinds. Matthew has played on baseball and soccer teams. His favorite team is the St. Louis Cardinals. He is also a meticulous drawer and is very proud of his sketches. Destiny (12) is a quiet young lady who values being respectful to adults and "doing good."  Destiny enjoys playing outside, and participating in praise dancing. She enjoys school, but benefits from encouragement and assistance in the area of academics. Chante' (9) has a good imagination and likes most forms of play. She is very active and enjoys playing outside, especially trips to the park. Chante' is very affectionate and craves much attention. This girls have a strong bond and would like to remain in contact with older biological siblings.

Justin is an active seventeen-year-old with a bright smile and friendly personality. William, who goes by “Billy,” has short brown hair and bluish-green eyes.  He is accustomed to living on a farm and loves the idea of living in the country.  Billy  (17) especially likes to tinker with motorized tools and enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together.  He has always done well academically with grades in the A and B range. Jeremy is 10 years old with blond hair and blue eyes.  He is very energetic and enjoys playing electronic games on a Leap Pad or DS. Eliseo is a charming, resilient and loveable 12-year-old boy of Hispanic descent.  He is full of life and a joy to be around!  Eliseo's developmental level is that of a 7-18 month old, however, he is quite mobile.  Eliseo is decribed as spunky, fun-loving, affectionate, innocent and easy-going!  Eliseo's favorite things include being in the water, and lying next to the window so he can feel the warmth of the sun while playing with light-up toys.  Although Eliseo is non-verbal, blind, and deaf, he is very much involved in activities offered through the facility and community in which he lives.  Eliseo is looking for a family who can welcome him into their lives with open arms and be ready to add the joy of him into their family!

William (15) is a handsome young man with a great smile.  William enjoys drawing pictures, playing video games and listening to all types of music.  William likes to ride his bike and skateboard outdoors.  William’s other interests include NASCAR racing and model cars. Timothy M.

Timothy is an energetic fourteen-year-old who loves to interact with others. Timothy loves to play outside, listen to music, and sing nursery songs. He also enjoys playing catch. Timothy is diagnosed with cerebral palsy and hip dysplasia. He has limitations with cognition and communication. He communicates some verbally and through sign language. Timothy is mobile. He does not use his wheelchair all the time and is able to get around the home using his hands and feet. Due to his physical disabilities, he is not able to stand up or walk without assistance. Timothy has a sister with whom he would like to maintain contact. The perfect family for Timothy would be one who enjoys playing catch, and who can provide one-on-one support for his daily care and emotional needs.

Thirteen-year-old David is a "hands-on guy who enjoys trying new things." He has lots of different interests and hobbies. Whether it's playing video games, swimming, listening to music, or watching wrestling or football on TV, David's up for it.  He also enjoys arts and crafts and likes to spend time drawing, building model cars and glass blowing, a skill he was introduced to recently. David is a good student who thinks he might like to become an accountant or join the U.S. Navy so that he can learn about the construction field.
