SUMMARY:Behind the Run: Supporting Youth Who Run from Care
DESCRIPTION:This is an online training offered through the FCARSTC contract for families licensed through Children’s Division and KVC. This training equips foster parents and caregivers with practical tools and trauma-informed strategies to respond effectively when a youth runs away\, and to help prevent future incidents. \n\nParticipants will explore the underlying causes of runaway behavior\, learn how to build trust and safety within the home\, and develop proactive communication and crisis response plans. This session also includes guidance on collaborating with caseworkers\, law enforcement\, and other support systems to ensure the youth’s wellbeing and successful reintegration.\n\nhttps://form.jotform.com/252176473552157
