Scottie’s nickname could be ‘Mr. Fix-it!” This teen has a keen ability to fix and create things. Anything outdoors is sure to put a smile on his face; he appreciates living the country life. Scottie enjoys farming and showing livestock. He is also said to be a good animal caretaker with a special fondness for chickens and sheep. Gardening and tending to his plants will make Scottie’s green thumb the center of attention. When he takes some time for himself, archery is one of his favorite activities. Red is his best-liked color. Scottie benefits from connections with peers and adults. It should come as no surprise that he wants to live on a farm, gardening and raising animals as a grown-up.

This seventh-grader does well in school and is adored by his teachers. Agricultural class and 4H Club are huge for Scottie.

Scottie would do best in a family residing in a rural area with pets in the home; however, his caseworker will consider all family types. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.

For Missouri children, both home studied and non-home studied Missouri families are encouraged to inquire; only home studied families from other states should do so.
