Sonya and Alec are great kids to know!

You’ll know something has peaked Sonya’s interest when her voice raises a few octaves! This sweet and typically quiet girl loves to help out where needed, especially in the kitchen. Like most teens her age, Sonya cherishes her small group of friends. Sonya has fun participating in Special Olympics and enjoys hanging out with her peers. Mac and cheese, cream corn, and grilled cheese are her top food choices. As an eleventh grader, Sonya enjoys school and appreciates supportive teachers that encourage her skills.

An avid athlete, Alec is looking for a family to cheer him on! Sports are always on his mind and he desires a family that will encourage his athletics. This talkative boy is described as friendly, getting along with both adults and other kids. Alec enjoys school as an eighth grader and aspires to be a professional basketball player.

A home in which Sonya and Alec can be the youngest children is preferred; however, all family types will be considered. They would like to maintain contact with their foster parents following placement. Due to this connection, a family in Central MISSOURI is preferred. We will only accept inquiries on the sibling pair, who will be placed together. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.

For Missouri children, both homestudied and non-homestudied Missouri families are encouraged to inquire; only homestudied families from other states should do so.
