Tariq and Teia are loving siblings deserving of a home together!

Tariq is a sweet kiddo who likes being outside! “I don’t like being cooped up in the house all the time” sums up his feeling about his preferred location. Tariq loves fishing and attending football games. Playing the violin is another interest, and he enjoys video games. He also appreciates watching anime. Any shade of blue except turquoise is welcome around Tariq. Dogs and superman are just a few things he loves. Spiderman: No Way Home is his favorite movie, and if he could be bitten by a radioactive spider or mutate, he would hope to wake up with super strength. Tariq enjoys eating snack foods like Slim Jims. Falling asleep to music is his preferred way to catch some Zs. Tariq does well with adult and same-aged or older peers. This protective older brother loves his sister. He is now in the eleventh grade and does well socially with peers and teachers in school. This jokester initially said lunch was his favorite period but followed up with science.

Unicorns and SpongeBob have a hold on Teia! Having her hair styled, nails painted, and a shopping trip (or two) are activities this teen delights in. Teia doesn’t shy away from getting dirty and enjoys being outdoors. Going on walks or to the park and occasionally participating in rec sports are well-liked outside activities. Pink is Teia’s favorite color, and when it comes to her favorite animal, she happily replied, “monkeys, because I act like one.” Spaghetti (but hold the meatballs) is her best-liked meal. Teia would want invisibility as her superpower with the bonus of playing tricks on Tariq. Singing is a talent of this bubbly teen. Teia adores when she is having fun and in the company of others. This tenth grader loves school and is proud of the As and Bs she earns. English is the class she most looks forward to.

Tariq and Teia would do best in a family with a mom and a dad residing in an urban area, in which they are the only children or where Teia is the youngest child; however, their caseworker will consider all family types. They hope to have pets in their home. We will only accept inquiries on the sibling group, as they will be placed together. Tariq and Teia have significant connections to maintain. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.

For Missouri children, both home studied and non-home studied Missouri families are encouraged to inquire; only home studied families from other states should do so.
