About this Kid

Brandy
Birth Year: 2010
Child ID: 372853

Meet Brandy, the teen with multiple talents and vast interests! She is most proud of her singing and is a fan of all genres. She currently enjoys listening to country music, but she'll listen to almost anything. Tunes from the 2000s are a big hit, such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and older Taylor Swift, but she also loves Hispanic music, as it brings her close to her roots and culture. Brandy is also skilled in martial arts and enjoys spending time reading. She is often found with a book in hand, and although she may be quiet at first, she undoubtedly enjoys engaging in intellectual and educational conversations. She is very proud of her academic accomplishments and is taking on more community leadership and advocacy roles this year. She enjoys exploring nature, adventures, and being organized. When in charge of the menu, she opts for authentic tacos made with ground beef, cow tongue, or steak; however, a meal out to Olive Garden or Chili's is also sure to brighten her day as long as she can follow it up with chocolate for dessert! Brandy enjoys shopping and doing things that are cozy and quiet. She enjoys self-care activities and pampering. SpongeBob is one of her favorite characters because she loves his type of humor – dry, sarcastic, and full of "dad jokes." If given the choice, she would possess the power of mind-reading, and Christmas is by far her favorite holiday. Those who know her best describe her as "kind, respectful, responsible, and mature." Brandy has many goals for her future – she wants to go to college or university and find a career that she loves. She also hopes to travel more and would like to see Mexico and Sweden someday.

This tenth grader loves learning! Her favorite subjects are history, biology, writing, and literature.

Brandy would do best in a home where she can be the youngest or only child. A Christian family is preferred; however, all family types will be considered. Brandy would love a home with cats, as she dreams of owning her own one day. She would also prefer a family that matches her cultural identity of Hispanic and/or Caucasian. She has significant connections to maintain following placement. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.

This is a LEGAL RISK ADOPTIVE PLACEMENT.
