About this Kid

Elijah, who prefers to go by “Eli,” dreams of being a firefighter someday! He is a kind boy who wants to help others and wishes he could have superpowers like Superman to do so. However, when asked who his favorite character is, Dog Man is most certainly at the top of the list. Eli likes building and creating with LEGOs, playing outside with his bike, and going on outdoor adventures. Hues of red, white, and blue catch his eye. He likes spending time with the animals at home, especially dogs and horses. Eli is a talented singer, and it’s no surprise that music is his favorite subject in school. His favorite after-school snack is pineapple!

He is currently in the ninth grade.

Eli would do best in a home with a mom and dad, or a single dad, where he can be the youngest or only child. A Christian family in a rural area is preferred; however, his caseworker will consider all family types. Eli would like a family with pets. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.

For Missouri children, both home-studied and non-home-studied Missouri families are encouraged to inquire; only home-studied families from other states should do so.
