About this Kid

This energetic, positive, and lively girl is Shemiah! Shemiah appreciates always looking her best. She is a fan of all things skincare and makeup. She loves to learn new ways and styles of doing hair and likes to practice with her friends. She also likes to be creative with her nails and enjoys a nice day of pampering at the salon. Shemiah prefers to get her energy out by participating in track after school. And when the weather’s not cooperating, she delights in curling up with a good book. It’s easy for Shemiah to get along well with everyone, and she has good relationships with the adults in her life and her peers.

She is currently in the eighth grade.

Shemiah would do best in a Christian family with a single mom, two moms, or a mom and a dad. A family in an urban area is preferred; however, her caseworker will consider all family types. She has significant connections to maintain following placement. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.
