About this Kid

Blake is a teen who is easy to get along with. His humor and wit readily make those in his company smile! And he hopes to find a family who enjoys dark humor as much as he does - he has some hilarious jokes ready to share! A boy of many interests, he enjoys a variety of activities, from the chess club to singing to watching college basketball or football. When asked, though, he will proudly state that doing backflips is one of his best (and favorite) talents. Blake is a fan of the whole Star Wars franchise and plans to build the Death Star out of LEGOs soon. He has a sweet tooth and delights in almost any fast-food treat! Blue is admittedly his favorite color, but he has a soft spot for animals and finds it impossible to choose just one as his favorite. In fact, if he could have a superpower, he would love to morph into any animal he wanted! Blake dreams of working with animals or teaching history when he grows up. Those who know him best describe him as “happy, fun, and smart.”

This ninth grader loves school! His favorite subjects are history and math.

Blake would prefer a home with a mom and a dad who are not faith-based; however, his caseworker will consider all family types. He also hopes to have a family with pets. He has significant connections to maintain following placement. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.
