About this Kid

Samuel, who prefers to go by “Sam,” dreams of becoming a barber or hairstylist when he grows up! He is a friendly and stylish teen who takes pride in his appearance and appreciates fashion and looking his best. Lately, Sam has learned how to style and braid hair and is growing quite a talent for it. This multitalented guy is also athletic and skilled in basketball. He enjoys the game, and it doesn’t matter whether he actively plays on the court or watches. When basketball season is over, football becomes his favorite sport. Sam is known for his laid-back demeanor, and when he’s not hanging out outside, he prefers to watch movies or spend time drawing while listening to music. His color of choice is red, and dogs are his favorite animal. Sam is known for being very helpful, and he gets along well with adults and peers. He particularly does well with younger kids as he enjoys playing a “big brother” role. Sam would eat pizza for dinner every night if allowed, and if he could have any superpower, it would be the ability to make “anything I want come true if I think it.” Sam also likes to dabble in woodworking.

This ninth grader enjoys science class the most.

Sam would do best in a home where he can be the oldest child. A Christian family is preferred; however, all family types will be considered. He has significant connections to maintain following placement. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.
