About this Kid

If you love chickens, you already have something in common with Skylar! This wonderful kid is active in the FFA and currently cares for over 20 chickens, which includes feeding, cleaning, and preparing them for shows. When Skylar isn't spending time with his feathered friends, he enjoys playing building games, creating with LEGOs, and spending time outdoors. He also looks forward to attending summer camps and participating in the Special Olympics. Those who know Skylar best describe him as a gentle, caring, engaging, and capable young person with a strong interest in animals and outdoor activities.

School staff report that this eighth-grader is very sweet, respectful, and enjoys helping teachers whenever he can. He particularly likes art and benefits from creative outlets in the classroom setting.

Skylar would thrive in a family with a mom and dad living in a rural area, where he could be the oldest child. A home that supports his development while encouraging his strengths, especially his interest in animals, outdoor activities, and hands-on learning, would greatly enhance his long-term success.
