Helping Kinship, Foster, and Adoptive Families Support the Health and Well-Being of Children in Their Care

UnitedHealthcare will be providing the jointly developed National Foster Parent Association/UnitedHealthcare training “Helping Kinship, Foster, and Adoptive Families Support the Health and Well-Being of Children in Their Care” during May for National Foster Care Month. This training will cover important topics, such as the jigsaw puzzle child to help families understand the impact of trauma on child development, and family mapping to help families better understand ways to adjust to having a child join their family and communicate their needs.
